INFORMATION ON PROCESSING OF PERSONAL DATA

Introduction

Your privacy is very important to us. We understand the importance of protecting your personal data in accordance with European Parliament and Council Regulation (EU) 2016/679 of 27 April 2016 on the protection of individuals with regard to the processing of personal data and on the free flow of such data commonly known as RODO (pl.) or GDPR Regulation.

Your personal data has been provided to Metal Expert voluntarily via any means of communication (notification via the Internet, telephone, traditional mail, e-mail, face-to-face meetings, all social media channels, instant messaging and others) for business purposes. The provided personal data is stored in the ERP system (Enterprise Resource Planning) used by Metal Expert, for, among others, to manage contacts with current and potential Metal Expert contractors.

This document is the fulfillment of the obligation incumbent upon Metal Expert in connection with the GDPR regulation.

§1 The administrator of personal data

The administrator of your personal data is Metal Expert Sp. z o.o. ul. Słomińskiego 5/231, 00-195 Warsaw with the head office in Elbląg NIP: 5782883825, REGON: 280014657, KRS: 0000501083 hereinafter referred to as Metal Expert.

§2 Inspector of personal data protection

Metal Expert does not appoint the Data Protection Inspector. In all matters related to data processing, you can contact the Administrator at the following e-mail address: ado@metalexpert.pl

§3 Objectives and grounds for processing

The purposes and grounds of processing your personal data will always be in accordance with the applicable law, including the GDPR.

The basis for data processing may be: consent to the processing, execution or conclusion of a contract, legal obligation on the Administrator, legitimate interests of the Administrator.

In the case of data processing on the basis of consent, you have the right at any time to change your consent regarding the scope of processing or to withdraw it. Withdrawal of consent does not affect the legality of the processing which was carried out on the basis of your consent before its withdrawal.

§4 The right to object

You have the right to object to the processing of your personal data at any time. Metal Expert will cease to process your personal data unless it can demonstrate that there are valid legally bases for Metal Expert in relation to your data that are superior to your interests, rights and freedom, or Your details are needed to Metal Expert to determine, investigate or defend claims.

You have the right to object to the processing of your data for direct marketing at any time. If you use this right, Metal Expert will stop processing data for this purpose.

§5 The period of data storage

Your personal data will be processed as long as there are legal and factual bases to do so.

The data processed for the purposes of direct marketing offered by Metal Expert products and services can be processed until objections are raised regarding their processing for this purpose, or Metal Expert will determine that your data has become obsolete.

§6 Recipients of data

Your data may be transferred to the following entities:

  1. subcontractors (processing entities), such as courier and forwarding companies (in order to deliver parcels), an accounting office serving Metal Expert, law firms, IT companies, contractors of services commissioned by Metal Expert,
  2. all state and public institutions based on applicable law,
  3. on the basis of a separate consent of the Metal Expert partners in order to obtain a special offer.

If the head office of the entity to which your data is transferred is located outside the European Economic Area, your data may be transferred there. This applies in particular to courier and forwarding companies and partners of Metal Expert.

§7 Rights of data subjects

According to the GDPR, you have:

  1. the right to access your data and receive a copy thereof;
  2. the right to rectify (amend) your data;
  3. the right to limit data processing;
  4. the right to delete your data;
  5. the right to object to the processing of your data;
  6. the right to transfer data;
  7. the right to lodge a complaint with the supervisory body.

§8 Information on the requirement / voluntary data submission

Providing the data is voluntary, but it may be necessary to conclude or perform the contract or conduct other lawful activities.
