Small capacity steam turbines

As part of the tender proceedings of the Robert Szewalski Institute of Fluid-Flow Machinery, we have completed a project for a 1 MW steam turbine powered by steam recovered from waste heat and process heat. Modern technologies and innovations are a key element in the development of our company.

The project POIR.04.01.04-00-00116/17 was co-financed in the years 2018-2021 by the European Regional Development Fund under the Smart Growth Operational Programme 2014-2020, Priority IV: Increasing scientific and research potential, Measure 4.1 “Scientific research and development work,” Sub-measure 4.1.4 “Application projects.”

A by-product that was previously wasted—waste heat—is becoming an increasingly valuable energy source for electricity production. This contributes to greater energy efficiency and a reduction in greenhouse gas emissions.
